Re: Yellow Anaconda Post-Shed PICS
You have to spend time handling your anaconda if you want it to be like this.

Watch this video when you want to think about picking up one of these bad boys (and girls) in the wild.
Hulu - Wild: Mega Anaconda!
And in bare feet too.

Re: Yellow Anaconda Post-Shed PICS
Hmm, yeah mine definitely looks like that...don't really see how that is any different than a normal, but I guess that's kinda like someone deciphering a pastel boa from a normal.

Anacondas are soooo massive!
Beautiful... but still ginormous!
I think I would have to check myself into a "clinic" if I ever changed my mind about not wanting one.
Major props to those of you who keep them.

Dwaah! so cute! Is it just as cuddly with others or does it have a preference? I've use my snakes for education programs and I think it would be awsome to have a docile annie like that in the future. (kind of doubtful, but hey...I can dream)

Its the same with anyone, one thing I can tell you is that tame anacondas seem to sometimes hold on unnecessarily tightly when they are handled. A forty pound male like this one can apply enough torque around a wrist to break the bones of a weak person.

You're a brave man letting it go around your neck then! o_O
Sounds like my dumeril, though I'm sure she would be no where as strong as that guy.

The snake is not around my neck, my forearms are positioned in an `A` frame shape and the snake is wrapped around them.

Haven't gone yet, I checked FWC's website and as of now it looks like you don't need a chip for a yellow yet.

I've seen them several times, he is really good! Yeah, I think the barefeet are so he can feel what he's stepping on? But
they are gutsy for sure!
