I fully intend to get a couple annies, but not until I can provide a perfect semi-aquatic housing for them. I always feel so sorry for the big anacondas that have next to no water in their cages... a local pet store has one for a store pet and it has a small plastic swimming pool that is almost always nearly dry because they don't like cleaning up the mess when it splashes around. at the St Louis Zoo...
Pretty sweet!! The enclsoure was about
8 or 10 feet long, about 6 feet deep and
at least 12 feet high... the entire bottomm half
is all water. You can see the annie on the
far left, under the water, at the vert bottom,
you can just see part of it's body, it must
have been well over 12'. Impressive.. they
had some really nice enclsoures at this zoo
