Is it possible...
...to feel baby boas moving in the mommy's stomach? I know I might sound crazy, but I could have SWORN I felt some movement in Sakura's belly today. I haven't "pet" her (or even held her) for weeks now (trying to leave her be) and I could have sworn I felt movement...but I might have just been WANTING to feel movement, you know?
I'm sure some of you big boa people would know the answer to this question. She's just a little rosy boa, so I don't know if it would even be possible. I might have just been feeling her muscles, who knows?

Re: Is it possible...
In humans, babies will move a bit when in the womb. So i guess it's not too far a stretch to assume snake babies do it.
I'm just a newb guessing so I wouldn't know too much about this. I think it was probably her muscles rather than a baby. my appologies if I got your hopes up.

Re: Is it possible...
Yeah your probably right. But who knows? I have my hopes up anyway. lol
...any people who have had a gravid female, please shed some light on this! I know that someone has been able to listen to heartbeats in the snake mother's womb before but I don't know about movement...

Re: Is it possible...
I've wondered the same thing...I tried gently feeling both of my gravid redtail boas before, but only felt muscles, I think...
I could definitely see some babies where they were lumpy on the sides...but just the shape, never any movement...
I noticed in the last few months both my girls would randomly twitch their sides, like they do if I touch them...maybe they could feel the babies squirming around in there...
Must have made it hard for my big girl to get any sleep, with 26 wigglers moving around, LOL...

Re: Is it possible...
Just my thoughts, but those babies are packed pretty tight in there. I would think they might squirm a little, but I don't think they are doing summersaults like a human baby does.
