Erycine boa Pics!!
Lots and Lots of boas. My collection. All Erycine boas here! I just got camera happy and people wanted to see my pregnant rosy boa.
Here's Sakura in all her pregnant glory. She's so radiant...but she's also kinda miserable. She just lifts her head up when I walk in. She used to get really active when I would walk in. Ah...the joys of pregnancy.
Size Comparison:
Her boyfriend is much smaller:
Mr. Fantastic, the Rubber boa. Yeah, my fiance thought of that clever name..harharhar....
I *heart* Salvador, my Mexican rosy boa.
Ostrich Maneuver by one of my roughscale sand boas.
My Kenyans doing their Kenyan...thing... they peek out at me through the sand, and sit on top of it when they want food...which is ALL the time.
He was actually checking her out...I think she's a LITTLE too young for him, though.
Enjoy! I might post more later. One of my friends is a photographer and I'm getting professional pics of all of my babies. So I will definitely post those!

They are awesome, but when they're babies, they have a slight attitude problem, I've come to find. They puff up (thus his name is Mr. Puff and his girlfriend is Mrs. Puff) and do a "fake" strike, by pounding their faces into you, basically. As they get bigger they get calmer and more used to handling. And they are absolutely GORGEOUS: beautiful chocolate and caramel highlights.... And did I mention that I think they resemble puff adders? In addition to looks, I think their behavior a defense mechanism. I even think there is an adder that lives in the same area they come from. I'll have to research that to be sure but it does seem to make sense....

Re: Erycine boa Pics!!
Looks promising for babies in the near future... Glad to see all is good. Even though she is miserable I am pretty sure she will be her sweet self after the babies. All your animals look like they are in perfect condition.

Thanks soo much for the comments, guys. I try to keep them as happy and healthy as I can! Of course, if you asked THEM they would tell you that I don't feed them enough...lol
