Re: Viper Boas

unfortunatly wildcaught is ll your likely to find, im not even sure they have been bred in captivity before, but i think they have, a friend of mine (the one that sold me the haitian tree boa) had a pair of them, and he did really good with them, he sold em to one of his friends awhile back. they are really cool little snakes, bad attitude aswell from what ive heard, and you dont see em very often cus they burrow

Re: Viper Boas

They are bred on occasion, but the majority are going to be WC. Adults should not be TOO difficult to get on to rodents. But I would highly suggest having some experience with picky feeders, specialty feeders, and de-parasitising before trying any WC Candoia. I still have a couple captive bred candoia that I produced here and I am still working on getting them off of scented prey.

Yeah I talked to the guy about this one. He sent me a few pictures of her. She looks good in a few of them but some of the others she dont even look like the same snake. So Im kind of hesitant about buying from that guy.

this is the same snake according to him taken just the other day.

Ive had some experiance with that. Ive switched a few hognose snakes off of toads onto mice.
