JUUUST maybe...
About three weeks ago I put our two adult BRBs together, hoping to see some action. Our male is huge and proven twice over and has been known to copulate with even the side of his water bowl, so I thought that he'd dive right in, so to speak.
But alas, no action. They avoided each other like the plague. *sigh*
So we separated them, fed them, and talked ourselves out of trying again.
Like always though, I couldn't resist putting Fiesta back in with Fuego, you know, just to see.  Again, we saw nothing, but low and behold I checked on them three days ago and caught Fiesta lying with her entire back half on its side. Follicle development, perhaps?
Still, Fuego was apparently not over his previous lover, our dearly missed Ember. He soaked and sulked and hid in the corner up until yesterday when I checked on them and saw what MIGHT have been some courtship behavior. He had his tail wrapped suspiciously around her back!  A few hours later, he was considerably closer to her tail and still in a could-be-considered-wrapping-like position. I didn't take pictures just yet because I'm trying to leave them be, but I'm SOOO excited!
We might get rainbows this year!! I just wanted to share!

I purchased Fuego from my friend in Bellevue who originally bought him from a broker back in '01 or '02, but originally he's supposed to have come from Jeff Clark.
We searched for SOO LONG for a nice CBB female BRB of an older age and finally stumbled across an add on a tarantula forum of all places! And then on top of it, he was like three towns over from us! It was a total stroke of luck, and we love Fiesta, she's a very pretty and different looking girl!
