Thanks guys! It was exactly 5 months that he went w/o eating. The pet store finally carried the perfect sized mice for him. I also rubbed the mouse against Murtle (my Leo) for good luck [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img] (scenting). I dangled the mouse in front of him and he imediately slithered towards it and then went to town!

I did not think it would be a good idea to flash a camera in his face while he was eating. In fact, I basically sat quietly in a corner of my room checking him every couple of minutes until he reset his jaw. After a couple days I will weigh him and since he just shed he'll prolly look nice for some new pics.

I usually cut the flash off an lighten in PhotoShop when needed.
Or I block out some of it with my finger to redirect the bounce.

lol jules..yea really..really glad he finally ate for ya meg..my amazon did that to me for a long time too. he just started eating again a couple of weeks ago, and that scared me. but i guess every snake is different..considering ive never had a problem with my rosy boa, but have with my atb. wish ya luck from here on out with him though [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]
