I work at a pet supply store and helped a man with a substrate question a few years ago, and got on the subject of snakes. At the time I only had Oolong my
BCI and Mr. Crowley my
GTP, but this man had a collection that made me drool! He had a
GTP, a fantastic jungle carpet, South Brazilian BCA, a blonde Bolivian BCA, and a pair of BRBs. He mentioned he was breeding them, and I told him I'd be VERY interested when the babies came. It took over a year, but the babies were born in July and a few months later we brought home our two little girls Kallie and Itzel:

Originally I'd promised my boyfriend I was only going to get one, but I *HAD* to get two.
About two weeks ago, the breeder called my boyfriend and said he was going back into law and was downsizing his collection, and wondered if we'd be interested in his BRB pair. He really wanted to keep them in the area, and knew that we take our snakes very seriously. $600 for the pair AND their boaphile set-up. We couldn't exactly say no to the offer, so we picked up the snakes and set them up at home. This is my boyfriend with the male, we call him "Fuego":

Talk about RED!
Here's a portrait of the female, who we're calling "Ember":

She's so elegant and beautiful!
As soon as they settled in, it's been a week of non-stop lock-ups! We've only had them for TWO WEEKS and look what I walked in on today:

So I figure we must be doing something right! I do believe we may have a baby-filled summer!
