im thinking about getting a Dumeril boa

could any owners shed any light on them?,how do they compare to a BRB in terms of how much care they need?, do they have any special requirements etc?, also if there are any other UK members where is the best breeder to get them from over here, and the best place to get a new viv for it?, i only ask because i was given my BRB some time ago by a friend that was moving abroad and although she wasnt the ideal first snake i read a lot of care sheets and have made sure her needs are catered for.

I've had mine for about 3 years. Not much more maintence, I would say. I used to have them in a substrate they could burrow in, but recently switched to an outdoor carpet similar to astro-turf after I bought a much larger enclosure. They seem to be doing well. I provided them with a few more hides because they liked to burrow in the loose substrate. A really good website can be found at www.dumerils.com.
Any other questions, feel free to ask.
