I'm wondering how often to change the substrate, scrub the glass, spot clean disinfect etc the cage for my Rosy. What are your cleaning procedures so I can get an idea how to keep José happy and healthy.

I take all poops and urates out first thing when they are there..
u should spot clean ever day to every other day. if u use newspaper as a substrate u should take it all out and replace is once a week if you are using a loose substrate i usualy take it all out and replace it every couple months. i clean the glass with water once a week
change the water 3-4 times a week and disifect it and soak it once a week.
i clean my tank out with bleach.. wash it out with water and let it air out overnight every 2-3 months.. anything i miss?

Alice it really depend's on what type substrate you are using. Usally newspaper is eaiser to clean in general. I myself have substrate in the form of repti-bark or forest floor bedding and spot cleaning is usally pretty easy. A complete clean should be done at least every 1 to 2 month's depend's on how much waste the animal put's out. The one thing you really want to watch is the animal's urate's on top of the UTH, when wet in spilled water or high humidity, they will produce a funk stew, that can cause scale rot. Cleaning agent's can be bleach and water or the thing I like to use is Dial antibacterial foaming soap since I alway's use it on my hand's it kind of leave's a slight smell that the animal is use to.

I'm using All GOd's Creatures, a kiln dried worrd particle. Kinda looks like Lizard Litter, just plain lizard litter, not forest floor or desert or any of those.
