I would love to know how you guys keep your set up for your BRB's. Just trying to make sure I'm doing right by this little girl of mine..

Any suggestions or warnings you'd like to share would be much appreciated.

TIA for your help.

I use Repti-bark as a substrate. i have alot of branches and plastic plants, as they love to climb. in each cage i have 2 hide boxes on on the warm side of the tank one on the cool.
one of the hides is a thing i call a "humid hide" its a plastic container with a small hole cut in so they can get in and out fine. fill it with moss or Bed a beast and mist it and it realy aids in shedding alot. keep the all out tank humidity 85-100% i ususaly keep temps 80-85
*warning, temps over 90 for a period of time will kill them*
*warning, humidity under 50% for a period of time will kill them*
i use just regular house hold bulbs in a spot light.
u can use a Repti-sun floresent to help in color, but it isnt required.
make sure u have a sucure lid too..
i have a large water bowl in my takes as they like to soak and it aids in helping keep humidity up. i have a screen cover for mine, so i cover it with aluminum foil to keep humidity from escaping. make sure some of the screen is not covered so they have fresh air and ventalasion.
hmm i cant think of anything else but u can visit my site
www.rainbowboa.itgo.com or my friend and breeder of my rainbow boas
chris'es site http://www.qualityrainbowboas.homest...m/QRBhome.html

i would not use repti bark for a substrate for BRB's to dry, i use a spagnum moss that is kept wet. not soaking wet but wet. its a little more expensive but its the best for them. your pet store should have it

Re: BRB Housing Set UP

I use cypress mixed well with moss that is kept moist and replace every other week and clean daily.
