Even though I keep and love amazons....I'm gonna have to run with the Emeralds as far as favorites. I have just been making sure I can care for arborial boids before I jumped into the 500-1000 dollar price range per snake.

I consider the hoggs the "orange redtails". As you all know, my favorite boa is the hogg. But, my favorite other boa would have to be... (#$%^$%^$%^$%^&, I can't say Surinam here. #$%^$%^$%^$%^& you, Julius! #$%^$%^$%^$%^& YOU!)... I guess it would have to be a Brazilian Rainbow Boa because I love their bright colors and iridescence. I also love Kenyan Sand Boas, they taste pretty good.[addsig]

Nobody loves me, everybody hates me. I guess I'm gonna go and eat some worms.
Where is that line from anyway? *crunching, slurping, smacking*[addsig]

It's one of those stupid songs kids sing in the backseat on long trips to pass time.
nobody loves me everybody hates me guess I'll go eat worms
Big fat juicy worms lil squiggy wiggle worms
Oh how they wiggle and squirm.
blah blah forgot the rest ofthe words
Then there was the ever popular hearse song
Have ya ever seen a hearse go by?
Have you ever thought that you're gonna die?
The worms crawl in the worms crawl out
They eat your eyes they eat your nose
They eat the jelly that grows on your toes
yah I know...pathetic format but it was written by kids afterall and I'm sure alot of it was lost passing it down generation after generation.
My sisters used to sing this to me.
Boys are made of greasy grimey gopher guts
Mutilated monkey butts
French fried eyeballs soaking in the butter dish
I forgot my fork and spoon but I brought my straw *loud slurping sound*

Nobody Loves me
Everybody hates me
Guess I'll go eat worms
First you bite the head off
Then you suck the guts out
Then you chew the rest like bubble gum!
And then...
Great green gobs of greasy grimey gopher guts
Mutilated monkey meat
birdies' little bloody feet
And *me* without my spoon!
Oh, and on place you might recall the nobody loves me part if you've ever heard it in a song is from Limp Bizkit... the first CD $Three Dollar Bill Ya'll[addsig]

Hmmm fav other boa? It'd have to be
a brazillian rainbow boa, although (and I can't
believe I'm going to say this) I wish they got
bigger. Peruvian rainbows get bigger and have
similar markings but are harder to find. Well
that's my $.02 [img]images/forum/icons/icon_wink.gif[/img]

LOL...this reminds me of another song...
Joy to the world
the frog is dead
we barbecued his head
what'd we do w/ the body?
we flushed it down the potty!
Also another classic from Fox TV's top 40 [img]images/forum/icons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
Jingle bells, Jingle bells
Batman smells
Robin laid an egg
Batmobile broke its wheel
And the Joker got away, hey![addsig]

What about:
Miss Mary had a steamboat...
the steamboat had a bell...
Miss Mary went to heaven...
the steamboat went to
(#$%^$%^$%^$%^&)o operator please give me number 9...
and if you disconect me...
I'll kick you in the
(behind) the frigerator...
there laid a piece of glass...
Miss Mary sat down on it..
and broke her little
(#$%^$%^$%^&)-k me no more questions..
tell me no more lies...
the boys are in the bathroom..
shooing out the flies!
There are a few minor variations to this but
that was the big hit with us girls playing
patty-cake in elementery. That and all
those cheesy horror-scare me things..
Bloody fingers! haha
ok sorry for the trip down my memory lane.

I wrote a song for my roommate...it starts out with really nice soft acoustic guitar strums...it's called "Bipolar Girl"...shes a cool chick with issues and has a really good sense of humor about it.
Bipolar giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirl
Your heads in a whirrrrrrrrrl
Bipolar giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirl
you found my worrrrrrrrrrrld
Bipolar girl.
They say you are craaaaazy
And that you are Laaaaazy
Why can't they see?
What you mean to me
You seem suiciiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidal
sometimes Homiciiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidal
that's alright with me
why can't they see?
Bipolar giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirl
you're rockin my worrrrrrrrrrrrrrld
Bipolar giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirl
why can't they see?
OH why can't "I" seeeeeeeeee
You f***ed up my world.
Bipolar girl.

Man I can't believe no one has mentioned Dumerils they are #1 in our book followed closely by the Brazilian Rainbow. We would eventually like to get some Amazons and probably 1 Anaconda. We don't want to breed Anacondas but it would be a nice animal to have for show.

Sometimes you guys worry me?? Were you all abused as a child?? I've never heard any of these before. Of course I'm from Maine which might as well be added to Canada so what do I know. I don't know what my fav is. I haven't seen them all. I think the Emerald's are awesome but can't find anybody selling any. What would be the average cost for an
emerald?? Hisba, if you're looking for a Peruvian rainbow they're is a pet store down here selling a 5.5' Male over here. He has him in the same tank as his 8' Columbian Red Tail Female. Go figure.....it's a pet store. It seems clean though except the guy needs to clean his cages better. Besides that he takes good care of them.[addsig]

wild caught emeralds run from 350-500 or so depending on availability and colors/pattern.
CB snakes run 500 up to as much as 1200 or so.
someone selling a tame adult emerald can pretty much name his price.
best shot is to pay 500 for a cb baby and spend alot of time and bandaids working with it. Or to buy a pair of mean nasty ones and raise them to recoup the costs and work with a couple of the babies.
