well really, we finally got a decent camera & went somewhere to take pictures for a change! I'm just beginning our first online photo album, so there's not many pics in it yet, but a couple of us so everyone can at least put faces with the names. More albums to come, the next one is dedicated solely to my pretty boy, Romeo [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

Worked fine for me also...BUT ..UMM.. WTF is Lisa .. The page was noting me as being Lisa...weird though. Your name is CJ correct ? So that shouldn't have gone under lisa for you and i know it's not my name either.....oH well..

I love those pics!

My wife and I took our honeymoon there in Colorado Spings. We did a lot of driving around that area. It is amazing how you can go from Co Springs which is a city to spots only 45 minutes away that would make you think that you were back in the 1800's.

One of our favorite spots was the Garden of the Gods where you took those pics. That is a beautiful park, did you by chance get to take any of the "roads" that ran off of the park in all directions. They made for some truly neat scenery and picture taking opportunites.

Did you get to see Miramount Castle in Manitou Springs or any of the mining areas out towards Cripple Creek?

Hey, Stormy, thanks, we had fun taking them! That's neat that you guys honeymooned there, after being there for a week I can definitely see why, it's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. (and very romantic!) We went mostly because I haven't seen snow in over 15 years & boy did I get my wish. Everywhere we went was like a winter wonderland & the natural beauty of everything was truly amazing.

We went horseback riding throught the Garden of the Gods (I keep calling it canyon, but you're right, it's garden), so we got to see all of the different rock formations but not the entire park or the roads, it started getting dark so we had to cut it short. We plan to go back again, maybe make it an annual trip, so we'll take a longer ride next time & hopefully get to see it all.

We mostly stayed in the Denver, Colorado Springs area, so no we didn't get to see any of the mining towns, but we will next time. I swear, we fell in love with the place so much, we have even talked about maybe trying to move there one day. Ahh, to dream! [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
