Very sharp! Girls do love it when guys take the time to dress up. I had no idea what you looked like. Nice to put a face with the posts.

Re: This kid cleans up pretty nice eh??? Mugshot warning
lol Thanks guys. I'm finally getting used to dressing like that everyday in public for work. Still feels awkward when I walk into the store to get a drink wearing it tho....

Re: This kid cleans up pretty nice eh??? Mugshot warning
There are some young guys who dress like that and can be seen walking around neighborhoods here in the summer with a white shirt and tie. They are Mormons. I once invited them in for tea many years ago and we had a nice conversation. They were fascinated with me because I was working as a private exotic dancer at the time. But they were so kind, they helped me move in the middle of summer when it was 100 degrees. We had to carry stuff up 3 flights of stairs. Guess what they were wearing? Black pants, white shirts, and ties! That was all they were allowed to wear while on their "mission."
So now whenever I see young men dressed like that walking around in summer, I get a warm feeling in my heart.

Re: This kid cleans up pretty nice eh??? Mugshot warning
I'm actually a waiter at a retirement community. Its a great job and I love to interact with older people. All of the Older people in my family have passed on so Its nice to have people in the 80-90's that I can talk with about how life was as kids for them and how time has changed

That sounds like a very fun job! Do you ever get to talk to them about your snake collection?

lol No way!!! That might not be a good topic to bring up over dinner lol
After my great aunt passed away a few months ago at 99 years old, I haven't really had anybody that lived through the depression and both world wars until now. We get to talking about new technology(dvds, cds, flat screen tvs, portable dvd players, exct). It just blows me away how they lived as children.
1 thing always amazes me, The can't remember what they had for breakfast that morning but they can remember every single detail of an incident that happened 60,70, or even 80 years ago.
I think I get more out of it than they do. Yes they enjoy company and seeing our smiling faces but nothing makes their day like when you take 5 minutes to sit down after they are done eating and talk about their day.

ha ha I'm not quite that old yet, and I never had CD players, flat screen TV's, computers, or cell phones growing up either!
