THAT'S JUST STUPID)!!!!!! but my lawyer told me this.....if I got pulled over and put the cap back on the bottle, it's not an open container, just half empty. How does that work?

But as for open container, in NC, if the seal has been broken, it is considered open container.
NC has a new ( 2 yr old) law on open containers, NO ONE in a vehicle can have one, not even a passenger.
Man were these rednecks pi$$ed off when they passed that one!
