lmao... I also have books I love reading. But as to your question...
mainly Jazz and blues (old stuff like weather report, Miles Davies, John Coltrain...) And anything by Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Radiohead... you get the idea. I also love Ethnic Irish stuff like Lunasa and the Chieftains...
Oh, and last but not least, Israeli rock... I'm guessing names won't be of much help.

Pink Floyd really do rock its true.
I saw them at Knebworth in 1990 I think it was and I saw Roger Waters in Berlin in 1990 when the wall was coming down.
I've recently bought a cd, the best of Gong, and you know what I'm sure Pink Floyd must have been into Gong cos a load of the tracks have got similar bits and stuff, and that was from stuff that they did before pink floyd.
I saw Gong at Glastonbury 2 years ago....no I tell a lie, I went to the avalon field to go and watch them but there was so much stuff going off I got side tracked and ended up juggling with flashing red balls in the field where the stone circle is.
I also saw Radiohead at Glastonbury, it was one of the muddy years and I think they were about the best band I've ever seen ever. Except this year I saw Love at Manchester and I think they were brill too.
I love music

If you like jazz, and you like pink floyd, and by the sounds of the other stuff your into, I'd say you would like gong and should put it on your `wanted` list.
Its not depressing though like floyd and radiohead can be, its actualy very wierd, funny, daft. Think jazz/ psychadelic/groovy/ambience/monty python and goon show and loads more.
I love music...especially stuff from the late 60's. I haven't got any King crimson yet, whats the best album to get?
