Toothfairy is coming tonight.
My son had some tooth damage about a year ago and had a flouride treatment that totally finished the teeth off. We decided to go ahead and get them yanked rather then treatment that may end up needing to be yanked anyway.
I'm not ashamed to brag on my angel boy. I'm loving his new toothless grin.

LOL Love when they lose those two teeth...looks like little fangs!
My daughters baby teeth didnt fall out before the adult teeth came in, so hers poked forward and looked like hillbilly teeth! HORRIBLE..she looked like a little shark!

LOL. Ariel's adult teeth are coming out behind her teeth now but far enough that it isn't pushing it out. One of them is soo loose the tooth fairy may be visiting her too. I'm hoping once it is out her tooth will move forward a little.
I've been so lucky that both girls have lost theirs before Christmas for their Christmas pictures so I got the "All I want for Christmas" pictures for both of them. His should not be in by then either so I'll get one for him too.

Thanks.
Nicole, I'm understanding that some people don't respond well to high levels of floride. He had a bump and the where the injury was there was some decay and they said that we could either put him under general and have them fixed which I wasn't that interested in, or just do a flouride treatment and then fix in the next 6 months when he was older and wouldn't have to be put under general. They put on a heavy coat of flouride and we couldn't brush those teeth for two days. After I brushed them I saw his tooth was really discolored. About a month later I noticed really bad carries in both the teeth that were treated, one much worse then the other. They explained to me that low levels are good for helping the tooth reestablish enamel but that at high levels like the one he was treated with in some people actually cause tooth damage. I guess we were one of the lucky ones. I have to admit the toothless grin is so much better then the discoloration.
