what substrate do you recommend. I have heard of usinf dirt, is there any downfall to this and what kind do you use. Do you use potting soil, or is there somthing else that is better.

Clean dirt (is that an oxymoron?) is highly recommended. I have heard that mixing the dirt with cypress mulch also works well. What type of monitor and where are you located?

oh and for exercise you could get him a leash and take him for a run. That way it would kill 2 birds with one stone, Because you could use the exercise too. HAHA
