My buddy had an Argus monitor, and it used to love to slice and dice him with the claws. Was a very active animal, used to have to use Kevlar gloves with him. The monitor used to walk on his hind legs and use his tail to stabilize. Thye are very agressive at times, specially when it feeding time.
