iv had him for about a month and a half and hes been fine but for the past 2 nights my cat has somehow been sneaking into the room hes in and jumping on the cage and this morning he was breathing a little hard so i figured he was a little stressed or somthing so i closed the door and put a towle over the cage so things wouldnt bother him and i went to cheak on him and he started to freak out he open his mouth and started to flick his tounge and puff up and down is there any way i can get him to calm down???

Give it some time... maybe a couple of days to settle back in to things.
Is it still eating?

okay its been a few days and everything is fine with him sence my cat thing. iv feed him 2 time i think maybe 3 . each time my sav ( hes obly a baby about 8 1/2 inches head to tail) but i feed him at least a dozen crickets every other day. i fed him yesterday 12 crickets and he is still really skiny. its like i cant keep him full if that makes any sence . so should i feed him a dozen crickets everyday because hes growing also what else other then crickets and millworms can i feed him because hes not big enough for pinkys

Hehehe..
Monitors can hold more than a garbage disposal!
And he might just make short work of a mouse pinky!

okay i know that this is an old post but i didnt want to make another
i started my baby sav hes about 8 and a half to 9 inches to big crickets about 3 or 4 days ago and he ate them fine but then today i feed him small crickets and he wouldnt eat or get up to eat them. so i went into the room later to see if he ate them and they were all there and i started to flick them over by him . finally he got up and started after them but slowly and stoped i noticed that he got really skinny . then he trew up . and now hes still is a dark color0 and just laying in the same spot i made sure the temp is right and everything sorry i have to go but ill add more later if anyone has any thing to help me with please tell me

Do you feed him anything besides crickets.??
He is deffinitely big enough to eat pinky's,
he will probably chew on medium to full size mice.
But get an opinion from a monitor expert here on RTB.
I'm just making an educated guess.
Yes he will be stressed by the cats but underfeeding an animal
will also bring about agressive 'stress' symptoms.

Well,
It's pretty obvious that crix alone aren't doing any good..
And it may be loaded with intewrnal parasites..
Get a fecal done and try different foods.
Boiled chicken, turkey a small bit of raw burger, not too much though.
And what exactly are your temps and basking spot temps, humidity etc.
Do you have UV lighting or take it outside to get sun?
