my sav's a bit too big for his tank and i really dont need to keep buyin more as he gets bigger. so wat size should a cage be for an adult savannah monitor?

Well..
I know ya prolly don't wanna hear this.. but room sized will be ideal. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

Morti and Ldydrgn keep theirs in its own bathroom, i believe and I have seen pictures of walk in closet sized set-ups as well. They were actually walk in closets converted just for the savvys.

An enclosure that is 8x4x4 is ideal for an adult savannah. It needs clean dirt for substrate for it to dig into, and some rocks it can climb. Temps need to be VERY high in the basking area (basking gradient should be 90-130). Ambient for the rest of the cage should be high 80's. Night time drop to mid 70's.
