digging

are all monitors compulsive diggers?just curious cause my savanah digs alot and is constantly trying to dig underneath his water bowl,almost like hes trying to hide underneath it,which dosent make sense because i have him a log house.

yes he does!

i just upgraded him from a 10 to a 30 gallon aquarium.also is it good to have a rock under the basking light?

Add more dirt, maybe another hide, small water bowl ,( shallow )
and I would have an elivated basking spot..

I have a blk throat monitor, And he is always digging and trashing his enclosure i think its the same for all monitors.

Depends on the monitor, I have heard the arboreal and some of the more aquatic are not big diggers.
