Monitors in the Caribbean?
I'm in the Caribean right now and outside my room is a lizard that I think is a Monitor.
He has a split tongue and is green fading to white on his back with white spots with black outlines. He's about 15 inches including his tail?
Any idea of what kind of lizard this could be?

Re: Monitors in the Caribbean?
Might it be a tegu or some type of iguana? It is definitely not a monitor. Monitors do not inhabit the western hemisphere.
