I've fallen in love! (Pics)
For only having this little guy for a week, I've already become extremely attached to him. Not only is he healthy as could be (eating everything I offer him, clear eyes, good tail size/weight..etc etc) But he's just a little ham too and TAME as could be for a juvenile!!!
I swear frhe does it to annoy me...but right after his morning water bowl change which is daily, he IMMEDIATELY runs to the bowl when he hears the water pouring in...swims around....and defecates hahaha. You can be certain I'll be updating info on him OFTEN!

Salvators will use water for a hide as well. They almost always retreat to the water in the wild instead of diving in a burrow, even juveniles. The way I kept my water from deliberately mucking up her water with dirt (so she could hide in the murkiness) was to add fake lily pads. This way the water stayed crystal clear, but she could still hide from me in it. In the end you will need at least a 6' x 3' pond that is filtered in the cage.
