Is it bad that I laughed at the cat getting a tailwhip to the face?
Oh well I did anyway.

The problem is many snakes (and popular lizards like leopard geckos and beardies) adjust well to sterile conditions and captivity so there is not a huge need for field research and science journals on them. Monitors do not do well in captivity especially for breeding unless you try and understand them in the wild.
I hope snake keepers get more interested in journals instead of just care sheets and breeder advice.

Re: New journal available
Seriouslythough, I was wondering if you saw that. How does it feel to have famous monitors? HAHA
My argus were from a clutch that Reptileguru.com had pictures of in Reptiles magazine a couple of years back. It means nothing, but its cool at the same time.

Re: New journal available
Great picture Seriouslythough, but it brings up another complication with monitor keeping. It is very difficult to find CBB species unlike the popular reptiles.

Good points. Lance is one of only a handful I know breeding them in the US, aside from you Ed. I guess odds are high that someone's clutch we know of would end up in Biawak.
