Sad update on last clutch plus good news
I wanted to update everyone on these eggs. I do not think they are good. Some have started growing mold which may mean they are not fertile. Two eggs were damaged while digging them up. (My wife did it. The poor woman started crying.)
I found this egg 6 days after digging the clutch up.

I was told that it looks like it was swallowed and passed through the digestive system.
So that meant she laid 9 eggs, one was eaten, two were damaged, and the rest probably are infertal. It sucks, but everything is a learning experience.
The 6 eggs from the first clutch still look great and if I am luck I should have some hatchlings in 2 to 3 months.
Now the good news.
My wife is gravid we should have a hatchling in 7 to 8 months. Do you think she would go for a middle name of Argus if it is a boy and Ackie if it is a girl?

Sorry to hear that, DZ. Better luck next time!
Argus is marginally acceptable, but ackie...lol, the poor girl. Like Steve Irwin's daughter, named after a croc and a dog, lol.

I know someone whose son's name is Argus - named after the hundred-eyed giant of Greek mythology, Argus Panoptes. It means vigilant guardian.

At least I didn't pick Doreanus or Indicus. HAHA
How about Tristis for a girl? Am I officially a monitor nut? HAHA

My fiance would kill me if I ever refered to her as "gravid"... and she's got like 2 boas and three bp's.
