Timor Monitors
I was wondering what the caging requirements and care for these animals are?

Sorry this fell through the cracks. Timorensis are more arboreal monitors, so the caging should be taller than most. 4 x 3 x 3 would do great, with taller branches and lots of places to hide. The higher up the cage is, and the more places to hide and branches to climb, the more secure the monitor will feel and the less flighty it will be. More arboreal monitors are flighty to begin with, so the more secure you can make the monitor the better off it will be.
I have mine up at head level at the moment, and I am six feet tall.
Hope that helps.

Re: Timor Monitors

That is wrong. As a rule, Timors are flighty as are most arboreal monitors. This person is trying to get educated on something before buying, and you are being misleading.

Re: Timor Monitors
Look at ackies?
Who said ackies are known as shy?
Most every person Ive talked to said they are very docile. Ackies are terrestrial and timors are arboreal ... no reason to compare them.

He actually said "Look ON ackies" which could mean a variety of things based on the translation.

Yeah I was just taking a guess and was thinking that he meant look at ackies instead of on ackies
