Old Dumeril Pictures
I was going through some old pictures of mine and found these. This is my old female dumeril laying an egg on top of the ground. I wish I had not have been so stupid and had taken her nest box out of the enclosure days earlier. I was so dumb. I did find more burried the next morning. She was guarding the nest from the male. I had to separate them ASAP.
I knew nothing about incubating eggs either and killed them all except for one.
Hopefully I will have some more monitors hatch this year. Babies are so durn cute.

Great pictures Ed. Those are many of the reasons I fear breeding reptiles. I don't know if I could live with a loss like that and keep wanting to try breeding them.
