More argus pictures
Sorry for posting so many pictures on here, but these pictures are cool. I finally got a picture of the argus mating. She looks like she is going to pop now, so we will see what happens in the near future. (Please ignore the dirty food dish, I had just fed them.)

Here are a couple of picture from minutes before the mating. He was checking her out.

Re: More argus pictures
There is never a reason to be sorry about posting to many pictures....
Your right the pictures are very cool. Lizard porn is great but next time show the second picture, then the third and then the money. That way... the proper order ...foreplay etc etc. lol
Thanks for sharing.

Re: More argus pictures
Beautiful pictures Ed. I am glad you are posting here, the monitor forum can get a little slow so do not apologize. Good luck with these two, and what ever babies may come from it. Are you going to freeze some eggs, or do you have plans for all the hatchlings should they all hatch? Have you had any bad fights break out with the pair?
Can you post some of the tri poding pics? Those are my favorite.

Re: More argus pictures
I have eggs from when she laid on Dec 30 in the incubator now. So far they are still looking real good. I hope to get eggs from her again in the next few weeks. I am not going to freeze the eggs. If I ever get over run with argus i may do something else. I have never had any problems with these two fighting. Usually they get along very well and are gentle toward each other. If one does hiss the other one will usually respect that the hisser wants to be left alone. Heck, they rarely hiss at me.
I will try to get some more tripoding pictures. The male tripods daily. Especially if it is trying to watch what I am doing. They are very curious monitors.
My male ackie will try to breed the female so much her health suffers. That was the problem I had a couple of months back. Even they are doing great now.
The lonely tree monitor and water monitor don't have mates.
