I really think that it was the camera that made it look "dark". He's near a window, and gets sunlight during peak hours of the day.

130 basking temp, 75-80 on the coolest side of the cage. At night, I lower the "basking" temp to 82-85 degrees.

Just so you know, glass filters UV. So he's not getting any UVB just from having his cage by a window.
That said, AWESOME! I'm dying for an ackie, and you got one for FREE? How did you manage that???

He's pretty easy. Just keep his temps up and feed them alot!!
Not to worry, the basking bulb is a UVB bulb, and I know he's definately getting all the UVB rays he needs. I changed the normal bulb to a UVB.:P
By the way...he is SUPER SWEET. He actually doesn't mind being held!
I actually tried to do a website trade with a guy who was selling them on KS. He seemed interested at first, but then he just said he'd "donate" it to me since I was a college student, and couldn't afford to buy a lizard that was well over 100 dollars. lol
So yeah...it was great! He was just a nice guy who also had kids in college and knew how tight money was I guess....so he gave me the ackie.:3 He doesn't want a website at the moment, but if he ever does he's getting a very GENEROUS discount!!^_^
