Possible Gravid Argus Pictures
If all goes well I hope to have more eggs soon. She laid her first clutch less than 2 months ago.
I worry every time I see a female like this. So many things can go wrong when a monitor is gravid. I lost a beautiful female Dumeril monitor when she could not lay her second clutch. She tried to push the eggs out, but could not. I finally found her dead in the enclosure. Since this female argus is captive bred and young, hopefully she will be fine.
