dances with savs i watched all your videos, my favorite is where you almost get bit in the face. it goes to show you animals are animals. i have seen well trained dogs bite their owners, we would be fools to believe a non- social reptile would be any different.

crocdoc is one of the smartest guys i have ever been blessed with talking to. his opinion always weighs heavy on my descisions.

it is all about where to draw the line. i like my lips so i will leave those tricks up to you.

Yes, Flavio was interested enuff in my project to have mirrored the training logs of my savs.

you have to look at their point of view. they do not argue monitors can't learn or be trained. they argue the why and how. yes i tought my sav to come when called, it is awesome but my water monitor was wild and crazy. i loved her just as much.

you have to not be set on training, it is a great way to be kicked in the teeth. you should attempt it in my opinion to make others less fearful and working with your animals easier. just never expect them to be anything other than monitors.


i do not think what you are doing is wrong, how ever there maybe people who look up to you, who's monitors will never get that far. they might get bit on the face and blame you.

i constantly talk about training and it's benifits though i realise because of crocdoc my methods with my salvator were wrong (even if they worked with my sav).

the fallacious argument that clicking a clicker turns a monitor into a dog is an example of the straw man fallacy.
Whatever crocdoc may know, he chooses to exercise his skills in fallacious argument. He is dishonest and dismisses facts in favor of leading a mob in exterminating an idea.

i think that is a shame i could have learned a lot from you and was looking to speak to you more. i am sorry if i offend you by not choosing your side over crocdocs. i find my self in the middle and constantly talk to behaviorists like willie and deb. i belong to no mob and am not here to redicule you. i feel now i have lost a valuable resource because i would not bash people who disagree with you.

I've already been run off of 4 forums for posting my vids and training manual.
It makes no sense to present information where it is condemned prior to investigation.
Whether anyone agrees with me or not is irrelevant. I do, however, insist on primacy of proof. Those who dismiss facts in favor of an agenda of prejudice (such as crocdoc, et. al) are not helpful in the pursuit of knowledge because they are opposed to it on principle.Their polluting effects are so bad they become the topic and stop all progress. See? It has just happened again...
I'm sure i have my values set correctly. The results confirm that my views closely correspond with reality. The opinions of detractors carry no weight- it only matters what facts they can adduce as evidence to support their claims. None does. All facts are dismissed and no discussion is possible. It very quickly becomes an 'animal abuse trial', which they have learned to be fairly effective dysphemism for training an animal. That's the herp version of Godwin's Law they've created. They are enemies of knowledge, attacking- not the knowledge itself- but the very act of learning it. A reasoning human being can find no greater threat than militant dogma.
I really have to drop this so i can go back to my learning. Crocdoc, et. al have occupied enough of my resources. I hate gurus.

well how crocdoc views me makes no nevermind as to if i listen to him. i have had many people look down on me for my views and questions, it does not sway me from still asking.

as for crocdoc he has helped with my savator's gravidness, egg laying, egg yolk perinotis, her behavior and much much more. i think if i was to get another salvator my new training methods would be directly influenced by crocdocs flight explanation. again like training a horse in a basement.
