I'd say roughly about 5-6 months old, depending on the size of the monitor and the rodent

Most Savannahs that are around 3months old(usually 12-15inches long) should be able to easily eat 2 fuzzies a day.

If your Savannah isn't eating there has got to be a problem. Savannah's should generally eat whatever you put in front of them, that's why they can get so obese in captivity. Try other foods. Boneless, skinless chicken breast strips that you get at the gorcery store, boil them, let them cool and put in the cage. Also, ground turkey, which is cheap, add vitamins, calcium, bone meal to it and ball it up. If you leave it in the cage it sould be gone when you come back. My Sav's eat out of bowls, but they don't like to eat while someone is watching unless it's rodents or crickets. BTW, sav's should be able to take pinky mice younger than 3 months. I bought one of mine as a baby and he was about 8 inches STL and fed him pinky's right away, no problems. Try rotating food items and see what they take, give thema variety.

i think it was just stress. today him and i had fun. i threw the crickets in he either grabbed thme outta the air or chased them and beat the poop outta them. he ate about 30. then later that night he ate 2 hoppers right in a row. he isnt very interested in meal worms although the very pretty little. and he ate a small piece of carl budding lunchmeat turkey and a little beef canned dog food that i mixed crickets in. hes doing awesome. hes already gaining his wieght back. and when i got him his tail was almost a perfect triangle now its about the size of a dime. and hes 13" long now
