Red or Yellow Ackie?
are either one more aggressive, long, heavy, difficult to care for than the other?
i think this will be my first monitor, what size cage would i need for 2 full grown adults and would it be a bad idea to start them off in an adult sized cage,is it bad to put 2 together, are these active monitors,i want an active one and would i be able to take them outside on a leash or something

If you would search the active threads for today, you might find your info. I believe Dachande posted a reply to BpKid asking for roughly the same info.
Why is it necessary to post on a help thread? I thought those were for more serious requests for info. A simple GOOGLE search would prove helpful as well.
If you truly want an animal, you have to be willing to do the research on them yourself, just MO

I moved this to the monitor forum. Please post new threads in approrpriate forums. This really wasn't a "help me" issue.

i offer fuzzies once a week or pinkies can be offered twice. keep the main diet insects w/ supplements. i use 45-50 watt halogen outdoor floods from Lowes. make a stack or elevate the basking area some how to provide a basking area around 130F surface temp. i supplement with Miner-All I. a 4x2x2 is big enough for adults and give them over 1ft of dirt. don't use full screen tops, unless you want to heat it with alot of lights and high wattage, plus soak it down once a week with a garden hose. humidity can be 60-70 percent. i don't use gauges though, i just watch the soil. if the top 2-3 inches gets too dry, i spray it.
