I'm super happy
i just got a new savannah monitor it is about 9 inches i got it from rjs exotics of nashua new hampshire it is very tolerant and only poops in self defense also it eats well it ate 2 fuzzies at the store and 2 at my house im so stoked on it if theres any thing you can say about that would be nice

Have you got your Water Dragon yet? Or did you get the Savvie instead?
I love my sav, although mines not that big yet. The first year, they do the majority of their growing, so its not easy to overfeed one.  Make sure he has a nice hot basking area, and plenty of hiding spaces. Get ready to build a large cage!! At least 6-8ft in length  For a great source of info, check out www.varanus.net On the FAQ section, they have a TON of info about monitors

sorry i saw the water dragon and decided to browse and i found this cute lizard chewing on a fuzzie mouse that was bleeding and i fell in love so i instantly got it and i already now about huge cages i have an an argentine black and white tegu that has one coming soon

Cool! 
The savvies are adorable!  Maybe later you can look at the water dragons..The good thing about the savs is they will eat mice & crickets..
Water dragons need a lot more attention to their diets as well as supplements. If a sav is eating mice, there really is no need to supplement.

i would say iggys are because they get bigger and are vegetarians and they are very agressive

hey snapi just got a baby sav 2 he likes to poop on me he is eating great but still hiding quite alot wot did you call yours mines is called dino i love him

same here, but be carful with savs as they are prone to being obeese which is not healthy, also feeding more insects while younger than mice is a better way to go.
