Embryonated Eggs?

I used to feed embryonated eggs to all of my mid sized monitors, but lately I haven't been able to find them anywhere. The health food shop I used to buy them from closed down, and no one else seems to know what I am talking about (that's happening far too often lately ) So, does anyone here have any suggestions as to where I could find them? I'm in the UK, but I am prepared to ship.
Regards,
AJS

hard to say. i'm in the U.S.

just out of curiosity, what are the eggs for?
best bet is to find someone with chickens or other fowl. could try nest raiding and experience how hard it is for wild monitors. j/k.
a co-worker i used to work with had chickens. i knew they were fertile, but some already had fully developed embryos. that's a pleasant smell. ask around and see if you could find some. people buy eggs to incubate all the time and raise their own chickens or ducks. check with feed and farm supply places.

The eggs are for my indicus complex monitors (doreanus, jobiensis, yuwonoi) I try to avoid giving them an excess of rodents and embryonated eggs are a good way of adding protein to a primarily invertebrate diet. If I can get hold of finch eggs then they go to my prasinus complex, glauerti, tristis tristis and ackies. I have also had dumerili and mertensi accept eggs but they don't get them as often as the others.
I have switched my indicus complex over to the same crayfish/shrimp based diet as my dumerili and mertensi recently so getting the eggs isn't essential but I like to prvide some level of variety.
Regards,
AJS
