Got my Nile Finally
Yea well i got him and i tell you what he looks like death...Skin and bones is all i thought when i seen him i threw about 50 mealworms in his cage and i think hes been eating them. He likes taking baths and is in shed right now. I figured i would wait about 3 days until i tryed to feed him his first pinky. His temperment well it changes but he mostly just hisses but sometimes when he wants to go he will turn and try to bite. Im going to handle him daily and give him baths atleast 2 times a week. I will keep you all posted he really needs some help so if i come across any problems i will post them here.

Wish you luck, I would feed him bugs as long as he takes them. Crickets, mealies, waxies, and roaches. Be sure to dust the food with some calcium/multivitamin powder. I would feed him every other day for a week or 2 then every day. If he is malnourished, too much food and nutrients can cause some problems. I wish you luck and keep up posted on him!!

Probably best not to handle him till he's settled in and eating well (maybe a couple of weeks?) so as not to stress him out. When my sav was a baby I left him alone (apart from feeding and poop scooping) so he could get used to seeing me. Have you had any other monitors?

Monitors are actually fun to feed. I never ceases to be amusing how they lick their lips and clean their mouths after eating.
As far as Niles ....... been there, done that, got the scars, you can keep them
