caresheet help?
ok so i've been looking on the net for caresheet info.. just to make sure my temps are on point and my humidty, but it seems like everything is differnt, some say a basking spot of 105 is way to hot, but others say 130 - 160 would be fine for a basking spot tempature.. and for tempature on the warm side 90 degrees.. some say you need UV bulbs some dont.. a little help would be great

For savannahs in my experience, I keep the dirt moist under the top layer so humidity can be monitored by where they lay at. I keep T's basking spot at 130-150 depending on where he is. There is a layer under the main basking platform that stays at about 110 or so and he spends some time there. I will get some updated pics of him and his cage later on tonight. Just look for the pics in the monitor section later

I kept mine with a 115 basking spot, and they were always fine with that *shrug*

Its a matter of oppinion. Some people say 90 is all they need. I would say 90 would be ok but it would take longer to bask off a large meal. T will sit for about 10 minutes at the hot spot then move away a bit so its not so warm.

2 different readings
are those temps suface or air?
usually a surface temp of 120-130F has an air temp of 110-115F. my surface temps for the rescue savs run 130-ish. however my ackies go higher than that.
