baby sav. food question..
right now im feeding my baby sav crickets.. dusted with vitamins.. is that all i should really be feeding right now? its tiny..

Well anything they can get into their mouths is fair game. Try to feed the ocasional grass hoppers collected from a pesticide free area, small pinks(which they can take from a small size) and some kinds of worms such as silk, wax, and meal worms. A small meal of scrambled eggs works for a treat every 2 weeks or so but it makes their poo a bit smelly. Crickets, roaches, and any thing else they can chase and then eat are all good. Ya, mine takes weanling mice every day so I'm sure a tiny pink will be about right in a very little while

I like the Savs, but from what i hear they eat, it wouldnt be any different than having another toddler in the house....LOL

just try to keep a variety of foods available to the lil guy, and when he is bigger feed him rodents.

He is lovely  Mine is bigger (7 months) and I give him a small mouse every day and as many locusts or crix as he cares to chase.

go with mostly insect diet until it is large enough o take an occassional pinky. but still keep it on insects until it ignores them. take an interest in breeding feeder roaches and maybe even your own mealworms.
supplement insects and gut load them as well. i offer carrots alot because they don't rot, they just shrivel up dry. mustard greens occasionally because it is higher in calcium than other greens and my dragon eats 'em too.

Yep, roaches are great. Heres my discoids, non climbing and get around 2"+
