LMAO.....So what happened to the shoes? Running the whole way? Or did he tear them up trying to get out of the harness?
They sell them at pet stores, and I have been wondering if my little water dragon will ever get big enough for one...LOL
I'd walk it!!! Especially out in my yard to check things out, so I dont have to try to chase it down..

Please don't walk your monitor in public or even take any herp in public. Thats how laws get passed. PM me if you want clarification on my thoughts about taking herps in public

I have a harness for the 5' water monitor. One I verify that he can't get out of it, he is going on the dog's run in the back yard.

I would let T out on a harness if the temps were high enough down at our 2 acre plot on a long rope. Of course supervised. I am taking him out side one of these days when the temps get about 80 or so

If it makes you feel better, I actually meant in the back yrd...I have a fencing..
But I do agree..ppl around here would FLIP if they saw the size of my Red Tails..When we go to the vet I use a pillowcase, and them put them in a plastic tote..so ppl dont see the tied up pillowcase and wonder what Im lugging out to the car...
My immediate neighbors know I have snakes, they think its OK. as long as they dont wake up with one in their bed!
I almost have one convinced to get a corn for her 10yr old son..But I understand how taking them out can lead to a BIG no-no I know a guy who keeps Hots, and he takes his out to the park...DUMBa...well you know..

mine go through spells where they won't eat at all. if it's longer than a week i throw a live mouse in and it starts them right up again. lately i've been playing with the ground turkey and vitamins diet that pro exotics use and they seem to like it.

not sure why he wouldn't eat. have you tried live mice? maybe a little smaller than what he normaly has. my are like a trash compactor, they take what ever you throw at them.
Pork, did you see the last post on my boa thread about elevated heating?
