Timors are secretive compared to lets say a savannah or an argus. As long as you are finding poop, then he must be eating. What size cage is he in and how big is he? I would try a varried diet. Crickets are great but if you can, roaches are better. Less shell for the meat they have and they are great for the monitor to get exercise with. The play with the roaches for a while before they actually eat them. Try grass hopper, when he is big enough live pinkie mice. Are you finding poop still? What is the basking temps? Does he have enough hides?

What are you offering?
a week and a half is just barely enough time to get settled in.

I recently had a timor and I traded it for a argentine B/W but the timors get really stresed so dont handle un less u have to. the like a hot basking upwards of a 100 degrees. u should also try ground beef and also if your timor is a babie get a f/t pinkie mouse and chop it up into bite size morsels and just look for poop and remember DO NOT TOUCH unless u have to
