Funny story and sex revealed!!!
I was holding HIM while I was on the computor. He was just chillin' on my lap and I hear a noise, look down and my lap is covered in crap. All watery since I just gave him a bath. I had to run down to the washer and throw all my clothes in. Boxers, pants, shirt, socks!!! lol Took a shower and now I don't smell. Also Tess is a boy, I am renaming him tesstosterone. Can someone spell it correctly for me please or T for short

i told ya poultry incuding egg would have a smell to it.more so than rodents.
did he evert fully? sometimes females will evert a little. but a male eversion wil be pretty obvious.
and it is possibly the bowel movement may have been stress induced. so be careful with that. after they're done with biting and tail whipping the next defense mechanism is defecation. i have rescued some that never bit or whipped, but would drop one on ya if they were loaded before you can get them back over the cage.

Maybe. I just know it was huge!!! lol she has been eating 2 fuzzie rats a day plus crickets and small rats diced up into pieces. She loves those even though they smell bad. I think I will pass on too much poultry for a while. She may have been stressed. She was just laying there and she had her head laying down. I just heard a bubble noise and looked down. It was a bad experience.

so it did evert a long piece of flesh. maybe as long as your pinky finger?
don't worry if it was mostly eggs, chicks aren't as bad. but you can smell them a little more than rodents.
just another reason to offer eggs on rare occassion.

best to have another same size to compare to. then you can also compare head size and shape. it's hard to say from bulges unless there is another specimen to compare it too. some don't even have to look at base of tail, they learned to distinguish by head morhology. i believe the males have a broader head, but it could be opposite.
next time you hear that noise try to get a close look. they sometimes evert during defecation. and if it's a male, trust me you'll know just by that.

Hahahahaha, that is gross! My girlfriend hates feces more than anything. The first week we had our garter, he pooped right on her shirt. Ha! I thought I was going to die laughing.

I just see the buldges. They are pretty big. I am almost positve its a male becuase the females don't have buldges.
