best monitor.

im having the hardest time choosing between these monitors, the dumerils $130 and about a fooot and a half( i really really like the dumeril), and the other chooses i have a re the ackie monitor, savannah monitor, or the peach throat monitor.

I'd either get the savannah or dumerils.

yea i really lik the dumerils, but savannahs are awesome also. see thats the problem, they both are an awesome monitor.

Savannahs are cool but I plan on maybe buying a red ackie in November. Since I'm getting married in october and it'll give me alot more time to prepare and research them. Who do you plan on buying from?

i work at an exotic animal pet store, and we have all of these in, not sure who we got them from( i dont order things in) and they're all in very good condition.

If you can afford two Ackies, get them. They are the best "beginner" monitor. They have great personailties, hardy, and don't eat or take up as much space as a larger monitor would, so you'll pocket book will be happier.

i think im gunna get the dumerils monitor, i mean no offense guys, but ive have jus fallen in love with her(o yea i found out he was a girl), i mean i havent seen that many ppl with a dumerils monitor before so i figured this would be sumthing diffrent. dispite her sharp toenails, its awesome how she eats. so im gunna give it a couple days and see what all happens. thanks for all your input and keep voting

around the size of a savannah but smaller in girth smaller.

so about 4-5 feet? how much you gota shell out for one of them? and what made you decide to not go with the ackie??
