Nile Compatibility

I know I'm shooting blind here, but is there any kind of monitor that can be placed with a Nile Monitor? We have a Juvi Nile, and would like to find another species of Monitor (juvi of course) to perhaps place him in the same enclosure for about a year or less. Any knowledge will be greatly appreciated.

Clint

Any monitor could be put in the cage with it. I dont think they will mind how they taste(like chicken right?) Unless your breeding them(please dont) they should remain by themselves. They get too large to be housed together unless its a room sized cage, and even then. monitors are teritorial and live singly.

Please don't even consider breeding Nile monitors. The pet trade is already way overloaded with them. They are the next green iguanas and like the iguanas MOST end up dead or in rescues very early on. Few people are prepared to deal with their size and nasty temperment. and please listen to Ed. There is no compatible species to share the cage..

I had no intention of breeding anything, especially Niles. I don't even agree with them being available to the general public. Thanks for everyone's imput
