$200 is a good price for an adult. I'm a little surprised at the length, though... *shrug*
They spend a lot of time in the trees, and some time on the ground. So providing it with a tallish enclosure with lots of branches is a must. They also need about 60-70% humidity. Heat the enclosure from the bottom so the snake can thermoregulate by moving up or down in the branches (like they would in nature). Temps near the bottom should be 88-90 degrees.
They are usually rather calm as Carpet pythons go. Good luck with it Post pics!

i am not sure about the price of the cage and everything, but before you even think about buying the snake, it is best to readup and get as much info as you can. also, it is less stressful if you have the cage set up and ready so it can get in and used to its new home quickly.
im not sure about their temperments etc

That one should be full grown (major growth, we all know they never actually stop growing). If this snake has been handled well, you shouldn't have any concern over the temperment. They can be a little flighty, but will calm down once they are used to you and get comfortable, LOL
You could easily house it in a long AND tall translucent storage tub. Be sure to put plenty of holes in it for ventilation. I believe you can find these at Lowe's or Home Depot. The bigger the better, naturally. Get some pvc pipe and connectors to build the 'jungle gym', a water dish big enough for it to soak in, a long hat pad (WalMart) and some cypress bedding. Should cost under $100 to house it this way.
I also notice that all of our arboreals appreciate some silk vine entwined around their branches. It makes them feel very secure and hidden. I wrap it thick around the legs of the jungle gym in order to provide a ground hide spot. Then I wrap some on the branches so they can feel a bit hidden when they are climbing. These can be found in the craft section of WalMart with the silk flowers.

Depends on what you mean. Glass, wood? Already furnished? They would cost you a LOT more from what I understand.
