OK...I've been looking to buy a female piedballed het, and I've been getting some numbers. I was just curious as to what some people thought of this price vs snake.

I know that some people will say, "well, it all depends on how much you really want it...blah blah blah...", but my main concern here is whether or not I'm being "taken".

This snake looks pretty big. Guy has paper work stating that she is 66% het for PB. He wants $740 shipping included.

No..this guy's name is Todd. I was just calling him a "guy". Sorry for the confusion.

I don't have a pie to breed her to, but I was going to get a 50% het for pie male that has been breeding already this seaon. I wasn't putting all of my eggs in one basket thinking that I was going to get a pie for this season out of them, but I figured, what the hey, I'll give it a try.

So, you don't think that that price is fair or right?

I would say this..I don't like that picture either. It's fishy...that's just my gut. Paperwork does not mean anything. Where does the paperwork come from and can you check it with the producer?
I don't know...I think you would be better off investing in a 100% and a 50%...

Ya think so, eh? I really didn't want to pay that much...but I think that a 100% is going to cost me even more than that! Maybe I'll just keep looking for a 50% female. It seems like everyone has males they don't want, but no females! Weird!?

I don't know as much about snakes as alot of people here, but I can say that the Bud Light can in the enclosure gives me a bad feeling about how well these snakes have been taken care of. But like I say, I'm no expert.

LOL...I think the cage size for those two is questionable...but I think the bud light can is for size comparison...although it's a lousey choice.

Woops..that was my bad! I just looked back at an e-mail from him, and his name is James....not Todd. I was looking into another one ( a male 50%) from a person named Todd. His e-mail is tmt@chartermi.net (Hope I don't get into trouble for that)...but if that is the other Todd's e-mail that has been doing bad business (that's what it sounds like from what you guys have been saying)..then please let me know!!!

Sorry, but I would never give $740 to a seller who couldn't even clean up his room to snap a decent pic...Is that old snake skin on the right?? And I really hope those balls aren't kept in that tiny rubbermaid together

agree, that tub isn't really big enough for one of them that is snake skin, part of the one he's selling, she still has skin on her!
