Ball pythons in my opinion are a good choice, plus these guys seem to pop up alot for adoption frequently.

I dunno about bloods...they get pretty heavy bodied...and when they do they are like handling a huge tuna...flopping back and forth...and they can be pretty testy. Probably not the best choice for Louise.

childrens/spotted may be the best choice overall....or an iryan Jaya carpet.

Ball pythons only have feeding issues if they are farmed and imported. Captive-bred bps feed well year round. Spotted and children's pythons are a good choice also.

Childrens and Spotteds would be a great choice.... just make sure you get one that is past the PITA baby getting started stage. Irian Jaya Carpet also
