The absolute LAST thing I would ever pay for is a burm. There are more in rescues up for adoption than not.

I can see why they end up in rescue---people buy a little snake and end up with something HUGE--very much like green iguanas-
--too many people don't do the research and most animals are sold too cheap---I saw regular ig's in daytona for $5---who does that attract? Little kids with a $10 allowance.
Who could be prepared for a 6 foot lizard in breeding season?? People get bit (I have seen some serious photos of ig bites) and immediately set it free in florida or give it up at a rescue---

hahaha good timing. I just walked sleepily into my iggy cage with a plate full of iggy salad and got a face full of iggy...She went from lazy sleepy looking rest to IN MY FACE in zero flat...her salad went flying, I caught her by the neck and belly just intime to get to check out her tonsils very upclose and personal...whew...I still have my nose! other than a few small scratches on my arms and chest...no harm no foul...had to redo her salad though LOL.

I think they should sell for $300 and we would see a definate difference in how many people buy, and research them. Just like Nile monitors.
