i dont think its a good idea for you to try to breed snake for a school project because first of all it looks like you have no knoledge of snake and most of all breeding them. it take a lot of work to breed snake and what would you do with the babies, which snake can have more than 20 or so.

I know alot about my ball python. I took him to the vet here not to long ago for his check up and the vet said in all his years of practice mine was the most healthy snake he has ever seen and he has been a vet for about 35 years

That idea ranks up there with putting anoles in a self sustaining ecosystem.....
Bad idea man, you're doing it for the wrong reasons.

I want to do it but a school project is the only way my dad would approve of it. It is something i wanted to do all my life but i could never keep 2 snakes at once because my dad dosnt like them. Anyways it isnt going to happen i already talk to my ag teacher and she dont think snake breeding is good around my area because there isnt a high demand for them around here. Maybe in a few years when i am out on my own i will be able to. Please understand i wasnt going to do it JUST for a school project it is something i REALLY REALLY wanted to do and have for ever. My day will come i know a place about an hour or so away from where i live now that is a huge herp place lol and somewere i might be moving has quite a few herp lovers too so we will see where the future takes me.

well, the other problem would of been the amount of time it takes to get baby snakes,
you have 30-60 days of lowered temps, about 30 days (or more) of keeping the pair together to get a fertile mating (if they are even interested in each other) then another 60 days for gestation, and another 60 days for hatching.
Your looking at around 7 months to produce a baby snake.
Thats IF they have a fertile mating, IF the female develops the eggs properly, and IF she lays them without problem, and IF they hatch.
Try mice , or rats, or hamsters or rabbits, something that has a quicker turn around.
Or you can go with some type of fish, like bettas, or guppies, or any of the other live bearers.
Its a good idea to want to breed ball pythons, but its not as simple as having a pair, and putting them together, as im sure you already knew.

Well, sounds like your out of options.
short of birds, maybe some society finches, maybe some zebra finches?
cows?
why does your mom hate fish?
thats a pretty odd thing to hate.
