hey yall,

i'm just curious if i'm under feeding my JCPs. they are two years old about 3 feet long and about an inch in diameter. i feed them three mice every two weeks (one mouse one week and two the next). i just started the one then two mice schedule a month ago. i just thought that they would be bigger than they are at two years.

thanx for your help

Probably should try to get them on rats. Maybe One rat pup every 10 days. My JCP is about 30" long and maybe 3/4" in Dia. She gets one fuzzy rat every 7 days. Size Chart

i know that rats are more nutrious, but they're just not big enough for rats even small ones. and i don't have enough room in my freezer to order frozen pups.

Drax,
I would switch to rats, but bear in mind JCP are ,next
to diamond pythons in being the slowest growing in weight, and one
of the slowest growing in length, of the Australian python's.
Just stck to the rule:
-One piece ,equal to girth, every 7-10 days.
She'll be right mate!!
